Pemikiranku Yang Memusnahkan

my destructive way of thinking :
among it, is :
I let it turn to ash.
I let it die.
I let it happen.
JUST TO PROVE MY POINT.

masalah yang aku rasakan...
oh, tidak, ia bukan masalah bagiku.
hanya kemungkinan sahaja...

iaitu, caraku membuktikan pendirian atau pendapatku.
aku tidak suka untuk bertengkar lama.
kalau pun ada per'debatan' atau perhujahan.

contoh,

contoh,
si pakcik 'guard' ni suka sangat nyibuk.
aku tulis surat jemputan, dia sibuk nak betulkan BI surat tu.
sekali aku tengok, macam dia nak 'cincang' Bi tu hahaha
sama macam nak edit homepage company...
dia nak nyibuk gak hahaha
bagi aku - lantak kau la...
kompeni anak sedara ko punya, bukan aku
aku tukang gelak bersama visitors lain dah le hehe

atau contoh lain,
orang kata, ala simpan janggut panjang ni sunnah je
aku tak suka nak cakap banyak
kecuali dengan orang tersayang je hehe
untuk orang lain senang je
-kita tengok kat akhirat nanti je la...

Dan Masih Berdiri Di Sini

Dalam kesamaran aku terjaga
mencari makna sisa-sisa usia
andai esok masih ada

Antara lena dan terjaga
aku cuba merangka kata
andai langkah masih berbisa

Aku ingin menjadi seperti...
diriku sendiri

Dalam ketawa kecil jariku menari
mengusik manja papan kekunci
SHIIIIII....ttttttttttttttttt

Hahaha aku ketawa lagi
atas futile attempt ku menulis puisi
atau mengukir baris berseni

Hakikatnya
Aku takde pun rajin nak tulis
ayat-ayat kononnya puitis
cet podacit

Jiwang kononnya
macho kononnya
pedulik hapa aku...

MWAHAHAHA

Mengapa aku..
mengapa jadi begitu?
ini ku nak bagitahu...

Sebabnya bukan luar biasa
hanya tersangkut di laman maya
nota penyair mengukir rasa

Hampeh la
macam aku rajin nak tulis puisi
tapi saja nak test skill
semangat teruja membakar diri

Sampai aku tak tidur-tidur lagi
blah la wei!

*****************

nota :
1) sebab tulis sajak hampeh ini, adalah kerana ter'melawat' weblog-weblog orang yang suka menulis 'posting' mereka dalam ayat kononnya 'poetic' atau berkarangan. seolah-olah puitis gitu-gitu. ni yang 'membakar' aku, sampai aku sendiri nak cuba, to see that if I incline, I can do as well.
2) SHHHHIIIII... tu adalah sebab aku tulis atas laptop aku, yang 'cursor'nya suka melompat-lompat. tengah sedap-sedap menulis, perkataan yang ditulis tu ada merata-rata dekat baris dan ayat lain. memang tak lama nak ekna eksperimen ngan Linux ni!

Beberapa Perubahan Memperbaiki Blog

Aku dapati weblog ini menjadi semakin tepu dan melibatkan post-post panjang seperti lirik-lirik lagu.

Walaupun Aku bermaksud menjadikan blog ini sebagai 'One Stop', or [Everything], nampaknya aku memilih untuk kembali kepada old-style iaitu melemparkan video, lagu/lirik dsb ke blog lama - The Memories Remain.

Dan ini bermakna - 'tak ada kerja cari kerja' - iaitu kerja-kerja me'ngopy' dan me'ngepaste' posting2 dalam blog ini ke TMR.

at least I will have fewer headache!

Aaand...This Is Why I Love RPK

While the masses are gathering to oppose legal gambling, RPK have another opinion of it.

It is good to have someone who thinks the way you do... or at least it feels good.

Which is, in my case, a kind of ... anti-crowd.  Yeah I like that!

Moral versus profit

Horse racing is not illegal in Malaysia. Casinos are not illegal in Malaysia. Fruit machines (slot machines or one-arm bandits) are not illegal in Malaysia. Lotteries are not illegal in Malaysia. Toto is not illegal in Malaysia. Why suddenly everyone is so opposed to sports betting?

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

The debate between the supporters and detractors of sports betting raise the issue of moral versus profit. Those who support it argue that it would earn the country extra revenue. Those who do not support it argue that gambling is morally wrong and will result in families breaking up.

Actually, the argument is not really about that at all. It is about legal and illegal gambling. Legal gambling is licensed gambling while illegal gambling is ‘underground’ gambling. Those who oppose sports betting oppose it because it is being licensed by the government. They do not oppose gambling per se. They oppose the licensing of gambling.

Even without licensing it sports betting has been going on for a long time. They even have a system of ‘how many goals’ and not just which team is going to win. In fact, you can even bet on the result of a by-election -- not only on which party is going to win but also by how many votes.

Are you aware that a very high percentage of police officers ‘buy numbers’? I should know. I have been arrested and detained enough times to overhear police officers phoning their bookies to place bets. This means illegal betting. And we are not talking about just one or two police officers or about just rank and file police officers.

So, when the trustees of the law -- those who are supposed to enforce the law and eradicate illegal betting -- are themselves heavily placing bets through bookies, how can you expect this problem to be solved?

Okay, let us agree that the government is losing billions of Ringgit every year because of illegal betting. And say that by legalizing or licensing it the government will now earn more revenue. But do you really think that this will result in the underground bookies going out of business?

The government has just created competition for the underground bookies. This means all they need to do is to just offer better odds and the gamblers will continue coming to them instead of to the licensed bookies.

And they can do that easily enough.

The licensed bookies need to pay tax. They also have overheads to service and dividends to shareholders to pay out every year. The underground bookies have no such costs. So they can afford to offer better rates and still make a profit. The licensed bookies can’t match them or else they will be going below their operating cost.

This is where the underground bookies have the edge. I mean, even with Sport Toto, Genting, and what have you, the market for illegal gambling and illegal betting is still there and extremely large and lucrative at that. No amount of licensing can totally wipe out illegal gambling and illegal betting.

The licensing of gambling and betting is not the solution. Enforcement of the law is. But when the enforces of the law are themselves not only clients of illegal betting but also ‘have a share in the business’ -- in that they collect protection money from the underworld -- what hope in hell do we have that by licencing gambling and betting the underground market would die off?

Anyway, if this is just about revenue and earning more money for the government, why stop at just gambling and betting? The prostitution market is also very large. In some countries prostitutes are registered and they have to declare their income and pay tax. Since prostitution is legal you can also pay for their services with your credit card.

In other countries, prostitutes are not only registered but they also need to go for weekly medical checkups and are issued a certificate which they can hang over their bed to give their clients the comfort of knowing that these girls are free of any disease. This is mandatory and any prostitute who does not go for these weekly medical checkups, and prove that they have done so with their latest medical certificate, would suffer the long arm of the law.

Even more money can be earned this way and if money is the issue then what’s the difference between gambling and prostitution? Many countries regard prostitution the way they regard gambling, in that it is legal as long as it is willing-buyer-willing-seller.

It is just one more form of many forms of gambling and betting. But no one is up in arms about all the others. They are just upset about this latest thing.

Sometimes it is mind-boggling that Malaysians have this selective opposition syndrome, SOS for short. They are not opposed to gambling. They are only opposed to a certain form of gambling. All other forms are alright. And they are opposed to prostitution but not to gambling.

How do you figure out Malaysians?

Random Quote

"You might have more fun talking about things today than actually doing them, but the job that needs to be done has a definite timeline. Stretching your imagination is no substitute for hard work and application" - Mr. Raygour

alright, though Mr Chai credited me with the quote (in his fb, yes, I am damn happy he quoted me!), the original is someone's else, and I forgot who originally said it.

and I am still looking for one more quote which is similar.
it sounds a bit like... but those who work hard still get ahead over others...

and yes, I am the one who always praise hard work over smart work.

Ming : Believe In Yourself

4 years ago, I read this piece of mind from Ming, an avid WoW player. Today, I come to reminisce his words again. I will just copy and paste for anyone to read (it was some hassle finding it among all the internet's garbage..)

******************************************************

by Ming, Level 69
Last updated at October 27, 2006, 10:53 pm
As most of you probably already know, Youtube was recently sold to Google for a whopping 1.65 billion dollars. One of its co-founders, Steve Chen (as seen in this video) was in heavy debt less than two years ago when the company was founded.

A look at Million Dollar Homepage will probably makes you scratch your head and wonder what hell is this all about. You will probably be amazed just like I was if you knew a 21 year old college student made over a million dollars from this site in just four months by selling pixels as advertisement space.

Yes, I am perfectly aware of the fact that for every success story we hear, there are hundreds of failures. I will say without hesitation that as of right now, I am one of those failures. Yet I know for a fact that as long as I can believe in myself again, I will be able to rebuild and regain the edge I lost. My previous career didn't end because I was a poor performer, it was because I suddenly lost my desire to earn financial freedom with my own hands and wanted the stability of a biweekly check.

The biggest mistake I ever made in my life was the day I went back to college. Yes, I will go into my grave believing that. It was 30 months into my career as a trader, and I was profitable for 27 out of 30 months, only lost money during my newbie days. I remember the Christmas when I went to a party with my parents, some old woman was bragging about how her daughter got into an ivy league school, and was telling me how dropping out of college was a bad idea and I would ultimately fail. I told her straight up that there was very little a school can teach me, that most valuable skills and lessons are not taught in a classroom. I truly believed every word of it as I have competed against people with elite educations yet stomped all over them when it came to actually making money in the market.

Despite of my early success, my parents never really recognized me, my mother in particular always wanted me to get a degree in case the stock market thing doesn't work out. I tried hard to block it all out, but I was having a slow year. I talked to my friends about the problems I had, another terrible mistake, as the only person you should listen to is yourself. Going with the opinion of the majority is accepting mediocrity. Most of them supported the idea of going back to school as a backup plan. Eventually, I surrendered and basically said it can't hurt to take some classes, and went to a school far worse than the school I dropped out of.The worst thing a young entrepreneur can do is giving himself a backup plan. The business world is an all-out war. When surrendering is an option, you will most likely succumb to hostility. When you know your back is against the wall, that it is do or die, your true strength will manifest, and more often than not you will overcome the obstacle. The second you start thinking about "if I fail in A I can still do B and live comfortably", your fate is sealed.

This is especially if you are pursuing something that is not commonly accepted as the high ground. Trading stocks is considered gambling to most people outside of the industry, especially post-2000 when countless people lost their shirt. Even at the peak of my success, I had to face serious doubts from my very own parents, and it compounded when my performance started to decline. When I finally started going to school, my resolve softened, and I would do worse and worse in the market because mentally, I was already looking for a way out. A steady job without putting myself in the line of fire everyday, that is what I was looking for. I lost the courage to pursue what I really wanted.

A lot of books will tell you that you can get into whatever business by doing part time first then convert to full time when the time comes. The reality is if you don't have the confidence to go full time, chances are you will never make it big or even make it at all. No matter what field you pursue, you will be battling people that give it all they have. Without dedicating tremendous amount of hours, and more importantly, without believing in the program, you are simply wasting your time. The comfort of a steady job is exactly what keeps you from testing your limit.

Whatever you are doing, whether you want to be a stock broker, a musician, or even a professional poker player. Take my advice, don't talk to your parents about it, don't ask your friends about it, true power comes from solitude, comes from the heart within. If you think you can make a million dollars doing something, don't ask for second opinions, just do it. There is no such thing as failure if you don't believe in it.

Sex please, we are Malaysians!

( dikutip dari weblog Art Harun )

Let's face it. Malaysians are a sex-crazed lot. Period.

Just take a look at the Tongkat Ali adverts all over the place. Tongkat Ali coffee. Tongkat Ali tea. Tongkat Ali isotonic drinks. Tongkat Ali toothpaste. Yes. Even the toothpaste does not escape the Tongkat Ali treatment.

Then we have the "last longer" adverts and fliers being stuck on whatever  "stickable surface" wherever and whenever available, whether dulu, kini or selamanya. "Ubat tahan lama", followed by the phone number to be dialed. That's the usual tag.

With all these exhortations, small wonder that many Muslims in Malaysia desire to marry more than one. Some even married another one without the consent of the first one thereby incurring jail sentence and fines. This is what I call "the leakage marriage", where the second marriage would make the man's pocket leak. Some even destroyed his marriage certificate in order to conceal the second marriage. Some claimed (in fact it was the same guy who destroyed the certificate) that he did not know that he was getting married the second time. HUahahAHa...

Thus it came as no surprise when our Tokoh Nilam of the year proclaimed that he keeps fit and energetic by reading some stuffs with his wife and have sex every night. None other than the Star reported this yesterday.

I just love the title. "Award-winning teacher's secret - reading and sex."

Like, tawdally "WOW"!!

Reading the title, I was thinking that this award-winning teacher - our Tokoh Mempelam whatever - had managed to unlock the mystery of meta-universe by unifying the principles of quantum mechanics with that of ultimate ensemble.

Or at the very least, he had uncovered the secret to making the  students more alert and attentive in classes by having sex while also reading at the same time. But no. The guy was actually being interviewed after he had been awarded the Tokoh Nilam award, a state award to  "honour a teacher who has managed outstanding achievements in education."

That this utter nonsense managed to appear in the Star shows what we really are. We are as shallow as our arm pit!

I could just imagine. Just after Minister Idris Jala announced that Malaysia would go bankrupt in 2019 if subsidies were not cut and after him extolling the benefits of subsidy cutting - just after he pointed out that our national debt would equal to our GDP by 2019 and that 15.3% of the government expenditures go towards subsidies - a reporter from the Star would ask him (in tawdally yankee doo-dle-dy accent) :

Reporter : "Meestder Ministder, how did you arrive at this tawdally awesome findin?"

Minister Idris : "I tell ya...I read every night with my wife in bed and have sex with her every night dude. That's how I know."

Reporter : "Tawdally, erm...like awesome..."

I mean, there wouldn't be any question on whether there is any other way NOT to make Malaysia bankrupt, like sealing the "leakages" in our expenditures. And what about talks of 100 billions being lost during someone's reign as the Supreme Ayatollah of Opulent Projects? And not to mention about our defence expenditures even though nobody is going to war in this region (well, not that we all know of). As well as our predilections towards Mega Expensive projects which over time became even more mega expensive like the PKFZ and the likes.

No. There was to be no such question.

Back to our Tokoh Nilam Seram Peram di Dapur. Sorry. No offence meant. And I am not belittling him and his award, which I am sure he totally deserves.

He could have been asked what he has achieved to deserve the award. Or what he thinks of the education system nowadays. Or how he thinks the standard of education could be improved. Or what he thinks about the current obsession with getting 25 A1 in SPM. But no. No such question.
At the end of the day, such inane occurrence is reflective of our state of mind. To a certain extent, we have this deep obsession with sex and everything else which has something to do with sex. In fact, we could actually be a bit depraved internally.

Despite all our moral high ground posturing - which results in us objecting against Rhihana concerts and the likes, or not voting for Zaid Ibrahim etc - deep inside we are a sexual society after all. Deep down inside, we would love to talk about sex as well as, I would venture to guess, have sex all the time too.

Even our religious authorities are quite fond of voyeurism. Our TV reporters included. Even in our Parliament, our MPs talk and insinuate about sexual matters all the time.

To some people, having sex with the wife 6 times a day is a God given right. Just as the Chief Minister of Melaka saying that torturing animals with whatever injection is a God given right. Just read this report

Sometimes, we even taped our sexual acts. Just have a look at this one. Not only that, the very same report refers to an Ali (for sure with a hell lot of Tongkat, this one!)  taking advantage of women who are caught for khalwat by offering to pay their respective fine on the condition that they would marry him!

Added to this desire for everything sexual nowadays is further spiced up with our society's (especially the Malays) predisposition towards everything mystic. I am using the word "mystic" because I want to be nice here. Actually, I should use the word "tahyul" or "mengarut."

Just look at the numbers of "seram movies" on our TV lately. We have all sorts of "hantus", "jins", "bunians" and what have you nowadays. A tourist happening to be in Malaysia would not be wrong to think that all Malaysians are obsessed with ghosts and djins. We have them in all varieties, colours, noises and fashions.

And when sex and this so called "mystic" are married, phowarr...like tawdally meletup!

Till the next sexual encounter cheerio!

The Destroyer of Malays and Malaysia

blogger's note : this is just the opinion of one of the many strangers on the internet. the truth is yours to decide. I'm just keeping this article for my reference and for any visitors who stumble upon this blog. I like this and, in my opinion, has some agreeable points. I respect Tun DM for lifting Malaysia in the eyes of the world, but for Malaysian itself, is another story to read. - raygour and out.
=============================================================

Dr. Mahathir - The Destroyer of Malays and Malaysia

It doesn't require a PhD to analyze the reasons why many Malays are still poor and ill-equipped for the new economy in spite of the NEP and all the rhetoric we hear - the true reason for the failure of the Malays are MAHATHIR, MAHATHIR, MAHATHIR, MAHATHIR, .......... and nothing else.

By Just Gan

Dr. Mahathir is the worst thing that has happened to this country. He continues to spew venom. Why? Not because he cares about the country or the Malays. All he cares about is himself, his family, his relatives, his friends and his cronies (Vincent Tan, VK Lingam, etc.).

To him, Allah is not the "True God"- MONEY is the only God he believes in. He lives, prays, preys, speaks, dreams, writes, argues, jokes, cries and talks MONEY. He wants to put in place perpetual chaos and bitter enmity amongst the Rakyat using race and religion so that all the ill-gotten billions accumulated by his children, relatives, friends and cronies will be safe.

He also wants to ensure that his evil legacy continues through his mentally-challenged son Mukhriz as the future PM. Towards this end, Mahathir destroyed the totally-incompetent Badawi and his ambitious upstart son-in-law, and is now undermining Najib.

Mahathir was and is the most powerful Malaysian. He was PM for 22 years and still continues to rule as the de facto emperor of the country (the Agong and Sultans are beneath him).

Yet, with all the power and wealth, Mahathir could not lift the Malay masses to be strong. He continues to blame his failing on the Chinese (the Indians don't matter to him and have never mattered). Yet, he cultivated many Chinese cronies and enabled them to become multi-millionaires/billionaires while he and his family, friends and relatives amassed billions.

He denied the ordinary Malay the most important thing that would have made him strong and ready for the challenges of the global economy --> education in English and competitiveness. Mahathir's children and those of his corrupt UMNOputras went to English schools, often abroad, so that they can continue to be the masters of the Malay-educated masses.

Every other factor contributing to the failure of the Malays can be attributed to Mahathir.

Recently, Mahathir tried to insult the Singapore Malays by alluding that they were "inferior" in their country, i.e. "kowtow" to the Chinese in Singapore. The rebuttal from the Singapore Malays was crisp and clear and showed how they are as confident and capable as any other Singaporean and how they are superior to the UMNOputra Malays who need the NEP-crutch to stand. I myself have met a few Singapore Malays - they are as capable as the other Singaporeans and any one of them can beat their equivalent Malay in Malaysia.

Lee Kwan Yew beats Mahathir again. Lee Kwan Yew has created a Malay who can stand equal to the Chinese and Indian in Singapore and who is superior to the Malaysian Malay while Mahathir destroyed the Malay masses in Malaysia.

Dr. Mahathir denied the Orang Asli and East Malaysians their rights, destroyed the Indians, victimized the Chinese and, most importantly, crippled the Malays while pretending to champion them.

Mahathir's biggest "achievements" are not the meaningless twin towers, failed MSC, the "robber" highways, the white-elephant KLIA, the ghost-town Putrajaya, barren plantations, sweat-shop factories run with foreign/illegal labour, etc., etc. His true "achievements" are the destruction of good governance, quality education, law and order, Malaysian brotherhood, religious harmony, and peace and harmony.

Kehinaan Bagimu Kebanggan Bagiku

4. Firman Allah Swt.:

Adakah Anda 'Anak Kelantan'

2. In this Enactment :

“Native of Kelantan” means a person who falls within
any of the following classes:

(a) any person born in Kelantan whose father was a
Malay;

(b) any person born in Kelantanwhose mother was a
Malay and whose father was a Muslim;

(c) any person wherever born whose father as a
Malay born in Kelantan;

(d) any person wherever born both of whose parents
werw Malays and who has resided at least 15
years in Kelantan;

(e) any person who was born in Kelantan and whose
father as also born in Kelantan.

*sumber : Enakmen Tanah Kelantan 1983

as for me, I am.
a) I was born in Kelantan, my father was (and still!lol) a Malay
b) Born in Kelantan, mother a Malay, father a Muslim
c) My father is a Malay born in Kelantan
d) My parents stayed in Kelantan at least 15 years
e) My father was born in Kelantan

HAHAHA, not only I fit ONE but FIVE! I am truly Anak Kelantan.

even though...my address was Terengganu for a good 20+ years.
heh, I even received reward from Terengganu MB few times for my good result in exams (UPSR, PMR, SPM).

Wherever we are, we are still Anak Kelantan. That is what make us proud.
We are discriminated, our rights within constitution violated, we were treated differently in many areas, yet we still thrive and going strong. We may have different political opinion, but we still have tea together. They stand united to crush us, but we do not give in. They mocked our way of speaking, yet we prosper and people now accept our slang. We have been everywhere in Malaysia and around the world. But wherever we are, we are Anak Kelantan.

kencana dengan kuda kencana
berangkat aku akan berangkat
laungan rindu dah lama mendayu
mengajak aku pulang ke asal

bergegar bumi tanah warisan ibunda
menanti budi tiba dengan cinta
tahan diuji tubunya berlangir darah
anak pertiwi kenal asal jadinya

di sana asal aku di sana
sejarah itu kata sejarah
...
dengarlah ibunda
aku akan kembali!
...

Strength and Honor,
Blood and Thunder!
