Ramadhan 2015 : First Day

So I went home earlier, at 8PM. I guess I have to postpone translating the marriage certificate requested by Fazil till tomorrow then.

Isyak at 9, as far as I remember. Wanted a quick time before going to Mosque, but I guess the food is more alluring. Kari Kambing! or masak merah, or masak tomato, whatever...it was delicious!

So I get ready. Shaved my moustache, couldn't find nail clipper.
Then wify said she wants to come along. So we went empat beranak. Actually 'My Prayer' apps showing Isyak start at 9:09, so I move out a little late, arriving at 9:12. They just started.

Turned out they already started Terawih. I continue another 2 rakaat, finishing my Isyak. They prayed Isyak at 9, so I guess my app was wrong.

Aiman cried the whole 2 long rakaat, and right after the imam finished the round, they talked something in length, in language I dont understand. A guy told me they don't like people bringing baby to mosque as it will disturb everyone, maybe the Imam too, since he need to recite in certain order.

Anyway I continue another 2 rakaat of terawih, then decided to call it off, as I cannot concentrate as well, hearing crash boom bang and Aira's voice from the other room.

On the way home, bought 2 packs of lamb chop/sliced, a whole chicken and a pack of dates, totaling almost 6,000 yen. Went home, play with my pc, then convinced wify for quickie :)

Then take another shower and writing this. Next I have to set up Aira's playground.

To Be More Fatherly

What? Am I not fatherly enough?
Fatherly enough, but enough is just not enough, at least in my book. I need to do more. I want to do more.
Despite many praises and recognition, I am still lacking. A lot, imo.

Of course I cannot list all, but a few that I should jot down:
I should read and check the right food for Aira.
I should arrange for the right exercise and lessons for Aira.
I should be more strict when giving her food or drink.
I should change her diapers without a nag-drag from the Big Mem.

Oh well, this post...I want to talk about how I should documented all the procedures for having a child in Japan, from pregnancy to delivery to everything important after that.

Now that Reynn is confirmed for her second child, I should take the chance to do what I missed before.
Yeah, I also shouldn't delay anything. Anything!

I have an idea to document all the procedures that I went through in Japan for future reference for me and others, hopefully. Also, after that I got another idea, to write something about Japan and Malaysia and the similarity or difference between two.

I was a father. Now I have to be more. Because next I am going to be a Judge and referee.

HAHAHA maybe this is what they call LOA.
When I was typing this post I got call from Hokenjyo. She asked me to bring Aira and Reynn for check up on 9/4. I take the chance to ask about that to do with the second child.

She said:
Go to hospital, get confirmation that you are pregnant. Then go to hokenjyo and get BOSHITECHO.
She said even if you don't have confirmation from hospital/clinic, just go to hokenjyo and get boshitecho. You can get a discount book for medical check-up also.

I Don't Always Work Overtime

Golden Week has started few days ago for most Japanese, but I still not going anywhere. yet.
and I catch a cold, my voice getting sexier and machoer and handsomer.

And I started to change my drinks from coffee to something sweet and sour.

On My Birthday!

I took my family to Saizeriya. Because I can! Anyway, I also bring along my novel scraps and my new 'oblong book' to gather all data in One Book To Rule Em All. In other words, I am going to start writing slightly more seriously. Here is how serious I am...

It Hasn't Been a Year!

But here I am again.
Yes, I am here again, to write again on this blog.
I may have been on vf and fb most of the time, and neglected this ol' blog, but I guess here is where I belong. Where I can write freely like before. Macam dulu-dulu.

And I even shed a tears! Such a touching story. Nah, more like a very good storytelling.

OH WHAT THE HECK!
I finished the novel IN A DAY! How come I don't finish all other books in my collection within this short time? Well, I guess because they are not ACTION Novel.

ACTION! Yes, I found it. What drives me to read and flip page to page. The action.
What is going to happen next? I want to know.

And this is how I should write my novel. But then, maybe it is only ME who likes action is a novel. Maybe other readers like to read some paragraph of no conversation but only explanation of situation. In my case, I always tend to skip lengthy wall of text and jump straight away to CONVERSATION.

Imo, the conversation drives the story. I like to hear whats coming out of the mouths of the characters. It can be funny, witty, puns, rhetoric, jokes, and all sort of word play.

I have the urge to write lately, so I have to write. I have been commenting on VF out of ... out of? Well, whatever it is.

Kenapa aku ingin membaca sebuah lagi buku tentang kejayaan? Kerana, setiap masa adalah berbeza - aku juga berbeza. Mungkin yang ini sesungguhnya sesuatu untukku, yang mampu memujukku mengumpul segenap kekuatan untuk mengambil tindakan.

How and When to Sleep

Alright, its not really How-To, but maybe it is....
(looks like I'm going to make this blog as my note book also)

so, I want to wake up for Tahajud and also Subuh.
but if I sleep at 12 or after, then I only have like 2.5 to 3 hours of sleeping time, and, most probably NOT LIKELY to wake up for it.

why? because Subuh starts at 3AM and finish at around 4:40AM.
and it will keep changing from time to time, to as late as 5 or 6AM during winter.

so, to keep pace with this unavoidable change, I have to prepare a flexible sleeping time.

what have come to my mind is, to sleep early.
and sleep as little as possible.

I decided to sleep 4.5 hours before Subuh starts.
that means, if Subuh starts at 3, I have to sleep at 10:30PM.

that means, I will sleep for only 4 hours at night.
Pak Abdullah, one of my friends from Indonesia, is kinda rigid regarding this.
He said, the Japanese have pride for working hard, and probably sleeping a lot less as well.
He said that we as Muslim also can do the same or better.
After all, we have A LOT TO DO.

say Subuh starts at 6AM.
Then maybe I can sleep at 12AM and wake up at 4AM, and do something in the between before Subuh.

then maybe I can finish writing my novel by the end of this year?

alright, today Fazil asked me to help him bring the boss's furnitures from kedai perabot dekat Chiryu.
9 piece for 160,000 yen. including table set, meja study set, almari, rak, rak sangkut baju, etc etc.
I asked why not buy somewhere else?
Fazil said, from japan the quality is different, even if it is made in china.

dalam perjalanan pulang ke yard kami singgah di kedai sushi, Kurasushi.
dua orang,, kami menghabiskan 19 pinggan kecil sushi, dengan bayaran 1995 yen.

kenyang, cukup sebagai makan tengah hari.
petang, buat bayaran untuk Ju Aichi secara tunai kerana tidak sempat bayar melalui transaksi bank.

oh ya, dapat satu DDR controller percuma dari kedai perabot.
dia tulis di kotak - sila ambil sesuka hati.
aku bertanya adakah controller DDR itu masih berfungsi, dia kata 'tak tahu'.
kebetulan aku juga ada mempunyai PS1, jadi aku ambil saja untuk cuba di rumah.

dan,
ya, alat kawalan DDR itu berfungsi dengan baik.
sambil itu juga aku bermain sebentar dengan permainan DDR.

fuuuh, agak memenatkan juga. keluar peluh seperti berlari lagaknya.
